“Amur” has returned the debt to “Ak Bars” for the defeat in Kazan

“Ak Bars” decided to arrive for the game in Khabarovsk on the night of Tuesday to Wednesday. Judging by the first period of the game, not all Kazan players managed to get off the plane by the start of the game.
Already at the fifth minute of the duel meet, Kuznetsov put his stick under Koryagin's shot and scored the first goal. Kazan sent their goalie Akhtyamov, who was quite nervous, to the bench, replaced him with Miftakhov, and tried to seize the initiative. Alexander Gorshkov’s penalty helped them in this.
But, either the video coaches of “Ak Bars” hadn’t looked very closely at the previous game between “Amur” and “Jokerit”, or it was a coincidence of circumstances that intervened in the matter, but the home team again proved themselves, playing shorthanded. Once again it was Vladimir Butuzov, who did it, making “cold” Miftakhov upset. However, there is an opinion that either “hot” Vasilevsky would not cope with such a sniper shot between-the-legs into the far corner.
The Tigers did not stop there and, having received their first PP, they used it successfully. Mikhail Jordan stoke Miftakhov with his second sniper shot from the blue line.
3: 0 after the first period - even the most notorious optimists could have not imagined such an alignment in the game against “Ak Bars”. But this was just the beginning of the evening.
Khabarovsk held out the shorthanded time for penalty they had received before the break, but let the goal in the next one. At the 25th minute, immediately after the face-off, Da Costa succeeded in his crashing shot.
This was not the end of Amur's troubles – immediately after that goal, Gizdatullin was sent off and the Tigers experienced two very unpleasant minutes. The defense line, led by Alikin, did not flinch.
Then, the time of Amur’s captain, Michal Jordan, has come again. In PP, Kamalov and Gorshkov brought the Czech to a shot, which turned out to be accurate and effective.
As it went on, it got better and better. H. Zohorna finished battling outside the net, the puck got to Rasskazov, who, with a backdoor pass, gave a goal to his old friend Valentin Pianov.
And then 2,130 viewers, gathered at the Platinum Arena, witnessed the historic event. Michal Jordan, being in PP at the blue paint, turned out to be more agile than the defensemen of “Ak Bars” and, thus, became the first hat-trick scorer among defensemen in the history of “Amur” in the National Championships.
But this was not enough for the Tigers. Nikita Kamalov capitalized on the next PP of his team and fixed the final score of the game. 7: 1 - “Amur” smashes the leader of the East and is fully prepared for the game with “Traktor” on 23rd and 25th October.
