Was born on February 5, 1987 in Khabarovsk. He graduated from the Far Eastern State University of Humanities in the specialty “Translator of English and Japanese” in 2009.
He passed the course "Theory and Methods of Physical Education and Sports Training" at the Far Eastern State Academy of Physical Culture in 2012.
At the moment, he is a Master’s Degree student of the Far Eastern State Academy of Physical Culture in the specialty "Training of highly qualified athletes."
He joined Amur Tigers’ JHL coaching staff as an overall physical condition coach in March 2015. He became a participant of the Kharlamov Cup together with the team in 2015/2016 season.
Denis Bogdanov’s job description was expanded within the Amur HC system in the summer of 2016: the specialist was working with the teams of children's sports school, with the hockey players of “Amur U16 Leaque”, and was also engaged in players’ special training of “Amur Tigers” JHL and “Amur “HC.
He studied at domestic and international educational institutions under the following programs:
- "Therapeutic taping in sports for injuries and post-traumatic rehabilitation" (2016);
- "Therapeutic exercise " (2016);
- "Therapeutic taping for myofascial lines" (2017);
- "Manual correction of structural disorders under kinesiological control" (2019).
Before the start of the training camp for 2018/19 season, he was appointed as a physical training coach of «Amur».
